I loved my junior high students and was very happy teaching. I was teaching and serving as school newspaper sponsor. My students and I digitized the production of the newspaper with some new software and we had a lot of fun with that. I would have been content staying right there. However, once again God had other plans.
Jump ahead after five years to another historical event. Arkansas passed a law requiring the addition of school counselors with a minimum number required based on your school population. Through a series of rather odd events, the Lord placed me in one of those positions at the elementary level.
I sure hope that you stay with us because I can’t wait to take you back to elementary school with me and see the lessons that I learned there.

Biblical Inspiration: I know Lord, that our lives are not our own. We are not able to plan our own course. So correct me, Lord but please be gentle. Do not correct me in anger, for I would die.
Lesson in a Nutshell: Go where God leads even if it is not what we particularly WANT at the time.
