So, as I was working toward getting Abby Sue published some changes occurred in my life. Those of you who are parents of adult children know that sometimes they go away and then come back home temporarily and that is certainly not a bad thing.
That has actually occurred several times since our children became adults and I would not trade those times for anything. At this particular time our youngest daughter came home for a few months while they built a new place to live.
She brought with her a husband, two children, and Tigger, the cat. Although it was wonderful to have extra time with them, it was an adjustment for all of us including our German Shephard, Abby.
It was really amusing to watch her reaction to the addition of Tigger and monitor their progression from antagonism to friendship. It occurred to me that this was really a good illustration of desirable human behavior.
Next time we look at how that developed into the idea for a book.
Biblical Inspiration: Proverbs 17:17 – A friend loves at all times and a brother is born for adversity
Lesson in a Nutshell: Family life transforms and changes. Success is the ability to monitor and adjust when new situations develop.
