To review, it was pre-COVID, I was waiting for the release of the second book, had decided not to use that publishing company again, and had actually written a third book which I will talk about in detail at a later time.
As I tried to plan the production of the third book, I remembered the request that had come with the thank you from the former student.
I really wanted to give him a chance to fulfill his dream so I contacted the former student to arrange a meeting to offer him the book. We actually met, he took the manuscript to work on, and within days came the COVID shutdown.
He was in possession of the book for several months with neither of us making any progress toward completing it. I suppose that we, like the rest of the country, were in limbo.
Thankfully that turned out to be a good thing because in mid-summer the road to a third book took a sharp turn. Hang on and I will explain next time.
Biblical Inspiration: Joshua 1:9 – Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage, do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
Lesson in a Nutshell: Be willing and open to helping others fulfill their dreams whenever the opportunity arises.
